THE BEACHES
Corfu’s coastline stretches for over 200 kilometers, shaped by coves, cliffs, and every possible shade of blue. There are 57 beaches on the island — many still edged in olive trees, some long and golden, others pebbled and quiet. Nearly half carry the Blue Flag designation. Most offer sunbeds, shaded spots, and small tavernas just steps from the sea. But the setting always remains close to nature.

On the western coast, wide sandy beaches meet the open Ionian. To the northeast, pebbled shores slip gently into clear, still waters. One of the island’s most striking places is Paleokastritsa — a coastal village woven through cliffs and forest, where six distinct bays hold cool turquoise waters,
ideal for swimming, diving, or simply floating. Nearby, the Blue Caves offer a quiet spectacle of light and stone.
Whether you seek a beach to explore or one to stay with, Corfu’s shores always offer space — and depth.
